“I finished my album in Palermo. When I got home, I threw it all away.” – School of X

Since 2017, Rasmus Littauer has been releasing music under the moniker School of X. Born into a family of musicians with an entrepreneurial flair, he quickly rose to prominence on Copenhagen’s vibrant underground music scene alongside his brothers, Simon and Jakob. Immersed in various projects in the city, Littauer soon found his own voice, which was the beginning of School of X.

On stage, Rasmus Littauer transforms his recordings into a dynamic performance oscillating between high-energy bursts and tender, intimate moments. Meanwhile, Littauer has collaborated with artists like Liss, Trentemøller, MØ, Deb Never, Ana Perrote (Hinds), Spencer Zahn (Empress Of, Half Waif), Davide Rossi (Jon Hopkins, Gorillaz), among others

In the midst of making his new album, he changed course and started all over again with renewed energy.

After a period in Palermo, the new material suddenly felt like a repetition from previous albums, prompting him to change course. He decided to expand his team and no longer produce his own music. The album is backed by a new band in the studio, and the role of producer is given to Søren Buhl Lassen (Lucky Lo, Brimheim). The fresh start created space for Rasmus to focus on the music and songwriting in a renewed way, while the band captured the intense live energy of School of X’ concerts, channeling the many layers of the music into a dynamic performance that balances high-energy outbursts with tender, intimate moments.

The result is „Seventh Heaven“, the new School of X album released at TAMBOURHINOCEROS.

The vinyl is made from bio-based PVC. Sealed by a sticker to avoid single use plastic.
