What began in muggy rehearsal rooms has evolved into a unique partnership that defies distance. Jan and Markus from Ynnerspeaker, once youths bound by rural monotony and endless road trips, now live 500 kilometers apart – yet continue creating raw, uncompromising music together. What started as late-night jams has shifted to the digital space. The principle is simple: everything is allowed, nothing explained. Vocal choirs blend with noises, electronic drums, analog synthesizers and a bunch of guitars. Ynnerspeaker doesn’t aim to please – but to touch, surprise, and challenge.
