The independent record label Tonzonen Records regularly provides lovers of Kraut, Neokraut, Stoner, Psychedelic, Space and Progressive Rock with high-quality releases. The prelude to this great label story was given by founder Raupach in 2012 with the release of his own band SOUNDS OF NEW SOMA.

Working with the Berlin record pressing plant intakt!, Tonzonen Records has found a congenial partner that manages to implement the label’s releases in the most symbiotic way.

SOUNDS OF NEW SOMA´s today released new album “The Story Of Sam Buckett” was pressed in the intakt! special vinyl colour combinations Orbital Radiance + Evil Eye Splatter (red/yellow + black) as limited 180g vinyl edition including a 300g inlay. A perfect match between album artwork and vinyl colours and style.

Another example of the excellent interaction between artwork and vinyl is the recently released LP “Modul 1” by the Bochum-based band Schubmodul.

“Modul 1” was released digitally and on CD by Tonzonen Records in 2022. For the now released vinyl edition, limited to 400 copies, the cover artwork was colour-changed and adapted to the multicoloured Shadow Rose vinyl manufactured by intakt!

Schubmodul´s “Modul 1” was pressed on 140g Shadow Rose vinyl from the Golden Summer Edition by intakt! and completed with a 300g insert.
